Iterum Repairs – Terms & Conditions

Iterum Repairs – Terms & Conditions

  1. Appliance Repairs and Installations

1.1. Our repair fee covers the cost of an engineer’s attendance, diagnostics, and labour for the repair of a single appliance. This fee applies regardless of the number of visits or time spent on-site and covers all follow-up visits related to the same fault.

1.2. Any replacement parts required will be charged separately (unless expressly stated otherwise).

1.3. We aim to repair most domestic appliances. However, the manufacturer, model, and age of the appliance may affect parts availability and the overall ability to complete the repair. Once an appliance is discontinued, manufacturers may limit the supply of replacement parts.

1.4. Our engineers will attend on the agreed date and time. If parts are required, they will normally be ordered within 1–2 working days and fitted as soon as they become available. Lead times vary by manufacturer, and delays may occur for discontinued or imported parts.

1.5. We do not undertake repairs to commercial appliances but will attend domestic appliances installed in commercial premises. In such cases, no warranty will apply.

1.6. We reserve the right to decline to fit parts not supplied by Iterum or its authorised partners, as we cannot guarantee their safety or compatibility. Where we do agree, no warranty will be provided for the repair or associated work.

  1. Access and Attendance

2.1. Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the appliance at the agreed appointment time.

2.2. If an engineer cannot gain access or the appliance cannot be safely reached (for example, built-in units that cannot be removed without damage), the visit may be aborted and a reattendance fee may apply.

2.3. Free parking or a valid permit must be provided where required. Any parking, congestion, or ULEZ charges incurred will be added to the final invoice.

3. Repairs and Limitations

3.1. If the reported fault is found to be due to misuse, poor installation, or incorrect appliance details provided at booking, Iterum reserves the right to apply the full repair fee.

3.2. If parts are no longer available, obsolete, or the appliance is deemed uneconomical to repair, the repair fee will still apply to cover diagnostics and labour.

3.3. Iterum cannot guarantee that every appliance can be repaired. Repairs may not be possible due to technical limitations, lack of available parts, or safety concerns.

3.4. If an infestation (rodents or insects) or an unsafe working environment is identified, engineers are instructed to leave the premises immediately. The full repair fee will still apply.

3.5. Iterum accepts no liability for loss or damage to property, food, laundry, or other consequential losses arising from appliance failure, delay, or incomplete repair.

  1. Parts and Warranties

4.1. All repairs completed by Iterum or its authorised partners include a 30-day labour warranty, covering the specific fault repaired.

4.2. The warranty becomes void if the appliance is repaired, serviced, or relocated by a third party following our
visit.

  1. Payment Terms

5.1. Payment is due on or before the day of the engineer’s first visit unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2. Payment for any parts must be made prior to fitting. Special-order parts are non-refundable once ordered.

5.3. All goods remain the property of Iterum until payment is received in full.

5.4. In the event of non-payment, Iterum reserves the right to recover outstanding amounts via third-party debt recovery agents, and any associated costs will be added to the balance due.

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

6.1. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the visit without penalty.

6.2. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment, or if access cannot be gained at the agreed time, may result in the full repair fee being charged.

6.3. Iterum will make all reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed date and time but cannot be held responsible for unavoidable delays or circumstances beyond our control.

7.2. Your data may be shared with trusted third-party engineers or logistics partners where necessary to fulfil your
request.
